We sleepwalk through some seasons of our lives, when we are not fully present and engaged
If we are not fully present we can miss out on a few blessings
Some people were with Jesus completely unaware of who He was!
How do we stay fully present so we can see God’s blessings?

Luke 24:13 – Jesus had been crucified, and two men were talking about it
1. “and BEHOLD…” meant “look” or “this is important.”
God is getting ready to invade circumstances with blessings
They were in the middle of a “behold” moment. Their story was about to change.
OUR EYES AS BELIEVERS CAN BE OPENED IN SPITE OF THE DISAPPOINTMENT IF THEE IS A BEHOLD MOMENT
We are in the presipice of a BEHOLD moment in our lives!
Beholding is seeing something with spiritual eyes
We have been equipped with the Spirit so we can see HOPE
2. “headed to Emaus from Jerusalem”
They were coming back home from the religious event with thousands of people
But it was in going home that they had an encounter with Jesus
Sometimes it is ON OUR WAY HOME when we experience an encounter with Jesus
The pinnacle of our Christian experience is when we take the learning and we make it real in the pavement of our lives
Jesus is the glory of God. Anything we need has bee shown to us in Scripture through Jesus.
it’s not enough to know it but to experience it
He wants us to have the fruits of the Spirit Galatians 5
He is everything to us!
3. v.16 “their eyes couldn’t see that Jesus was there … ‘Jesus said “what are these words you are speaking’”?
Before that it said their eyes didn’t work but their mouths did work!
When Jesus finally speaks He says “what are these words?!”
There’s something wrong if when we are with God we are doing al the talking
It’s ok to pray, but we should not keep going over old history
Our words have power! What are the words that are coming out of our mouth about our family and ministry?? Better to stay quiet and listen to God!!!
If we stay on the path God has marked for us, He will light it up for us!!
If the steps are not lit, it may not be the right path
