The glory of God and His implications in us

Exodus 33:12 – Moses said to God “please show me your glory”

John 1:14 – and the Word became flesh we beheld His glory… He has revealed Him

Jesus is the glory of God!

- we have everything we need for leadership, living, loving and pastoring.

In Exodus 33 Moses has experienced God greatly. But, he’s on a roll. He asks for something more! Not just

promises, power or presence. Moses wants glory!

God must have bee so happy because it meant Moses wanted to KNOW Him!

God allows Moses to see His back

God’s glory was so magnificent that this quick glimpse of God’s back it made Moses glow for days!

The request of Moses was not fully answered by God… NOT UNTIL JESUS DID GOD ANSWER THE REQUEST OF MOSES! BECAUSE JESUS IS THE GLORY OF GOD! (we beheld His glory!)

We can look FULLY IN THE FACE OF JESUS!

Moses wished in His day He can experience what we do… I Jesus we see God’s glory!

God spoke by His Son. JESUS is the greatest sermon, the greatest revelation.

Hebrews 1:1-3 – the brightness of His Glory

The inner reality of God is what Moses wanted to see,  beyond the curtain.

Jesus is the essence of God’s display forever!

We don’t have to beg for glory anymore. We have everything we’ll ever need in Jesus!

There’s no secret or magic formula to see God’s glory. Jesus’ glory is available to every single one of us.

John 4:26 – Jesus says “I am He, you don’t have to wait or look any longer!”

Pastor, you don’t have to look any longer. It’s not a secret or potion. It’s just JESUS! We have Jesus!

God loves my church and my city more than I do. If I yield to Jesus He will do something greater than anything I can do!

Since when is Jesus not enough?!?!

Don’t look further than Jesus. He says “my grace is sufficient for you, in your weakness my power is perfect!”

WE LACK NOTHING! God has granted us all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.

Jesus says “come to me all who are weary and I will give rest to your burdened soul!”
